New Gift Boxes

Black or White  base color, size's start at 2"3/4 to 6" 1/4. Larger boxes 6" 1/4 are 3" deep, smallest one is and 1" 1/4 deep. So a lot of room for goodies.
Custom orders are welcome, you may purchase boxes filled with wrapped candies ( like Kisses or Mints) or empty and fill with your home-made goodies. These are heavy duty paper boxes, after painting's or embellishments I use a coat of high gloss varnish on the out-side. Many uses after empty coins, jewelry, etc. Holiday uses Christmas, Valentine's day, Birthday, Wedding favor's. Many designs are available. Cades Cove Storms

Finished my colored pencil art and ready to start tweaking it for a print print size will be 5 x 17. I work from my photos I had taken a few years back. Love Cades Cove, very peaceful place. Of course I added   the stormy skies, maybe next painting I will do a snow scape.I need to take a trip to the cove soon, love driving up there and getting there just before daylight and watching the sun come up, we always take a thermos of coffee and some country ham biscuits for breakfast.

New colored pencil drawing I'm working on, Cades Cove is one of my favorite places in the mountains. First photo shows the photo I'm working from. 2nd photo shows the right side and 3rd photo shows the left side. I work on 300 pound Bristol paper. I will make Giclee  prints after this drawing is complete.

 Of course I don't do an exact drawing of my photo, in my minds eye I see storms clouds rolling in.

My scratchboard classes will be moved to a week later starting on Sat. June 30th, July 7th and July 14th. "Otter Woman"

After about 5 years on working on this piece it is finally finished and hangs above our entertainment center, because of my husband ashma I had to keep oils and my oil dryers away from him. I moved everything downstairs and she is now ready to be printed as soon as I get around to it. The original is 20 x 20 I'm thinking of doing smaller Giclee prints maybe 12 x12.  If you are interested in buying a print let me know.

I'm teaching classes

Finally decided to teach Scratchboard, I will be having 3 days, 3 hours each day, Saturday's at the Rose Center starting on June 23rd, June 30th and July 7th from 1-4 pm each Saturday listed. You will need Ampersand 8 x 10 scratchboard and a pack of tools, Hobby Lobby is the best place to purchase supplies, I check out Hobby Lobby and they do not have much in the way of scratchboad items so I suggest ordering from Jerry's Artrama in Knoxville they are now having sale..  Do Not open your scratchboard panel until you get to class.It will pick up oil from your skin and scratches very easy, I will have gloves for you in class. This is a basic scratchboard class. Contact Rose Center in Morristown Tn for details 423-581-4330. This is a pre-paid only class.

On Wednesday, June 27th I will be teaching a hand-made card class all supplies needed are Elmer's glue and pair scissors, I will furnished all supplies and embellishments. Again call Rose Center for details. You will have 3 finished cards to mail to your friends and family or put in a frame and hang on your wall. Card on right is one you can learn to make.....

Finally

Finally after 1 year and 4 months of being ill, my hubby is finally on the road to recovering, he had gotten sick while we were working the Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair, before we could get his parathyroid operation, he came down with bladder cancer, had the operation for that in Oct of 2011, now home for 2 days from parathyroid operation and feeling soooo much better. If anyone is told their parathyroid is misfiring get it taken care of quickly, it can cause many problems....Thank you God and our many friends that have helped and the many prayers that were said for him. We are Blessed
