TEACHING at White Pine Bookstore

I will be teaching watercolor and mixed media classes again this year at White Pine Bookstore, starting on March 29 Tuesday, each Tuesday for 3 weeks, watercolor classes taught in the morning and mixed media in the afternoon.

New Colored pencil designs and embossed cards

 These birds have been a fun series, that I'm not finished yet..I am usually so in to realism, guess old age brings back the fun of painting. I can now paint what I want, instead wondering if this will sell at the shows. Takes a load off and brings the fun part back...

When it snows in East Tennessee one tends to get bored, of course I'm always looking for ideas and ways to improve my art and my line of note-cards. For this spring I will have embossed cards with enhancements on them plus my art work. Four examples here. These will sell as individual cards, not in a package as I usually sell my cards.

Great Horned Owl drawing, ink colored pencils, watercolor. Makes for a nice contrast on dark paper.

 Three new Images over the  week-end Ink, Watercolor and Colored pencil on black paper.
It was a learning experience, especially the eyes which I love to paint, soul of an animal. I will be doing more with this approach...Also they scanned better than I thought they would will be doing some printing with these..

I'm so looking forward to it. It is held in White Pine Bookstore.

I will have a few students that I know and have taught before, some new students,

 I am sure will it will be fun bunch

So looking forward to watch them grow in learning a fun way to paint

with watercolor.
