Only positive thinking

I am now feeling a little better, most of the pain is gone. Thank you God. I can eat a little better, still not able to smile on right side, I'm lop-sided. This too will get better, it may take a while but I'm positive..Only good days are allowed for the next 20 years...
I have 2 scratchboard's finished both are tea-cup birds Bluebird and Chickadees. I need to get busy painting them so I will have them ready for the art guild jury show in June. Also one un-finished oil painting needs to be finished....

When you think it can no worst, think again

Got up Sunday morning with Bell's Palsy, what a shock, one side of your face is paralized thank god it's not permanent, it affectes one side of your face, went to my health care she started me on meds say it probably came from stress. Mercy! Sick hubby and now this.....wonder where the stress came from hubby has been in the hospital 3 times since Oct and 20 days in rehab....

Hubby is home.

5 1/2 days in UT hospital is more than enough, he had a tumor removed from his bladder, Thank you God. This a been a strange fall and winter. 2 trips to UT hospital one trip to Morristown-Hamblen, and 20 days in rehab, scary time in the Murphy house. Postive thinking now. No more illness.

I need to get back to painting and being creative....

Last Saturday afernoon was spent in ER

It has been a week since I had to take my hubby to the ER in Morristown. He was sent to UT hospital by the er doc, after tests they found a tumor in his bladder, thank goodness his urologist removed it, I brought him home on Thursday afternoon, bad night. He seems to be doing a little better now. I do not know why they call this the Golden years, this is the 3rd go around in the hospital since October.

Time to get back to our normal lives, he has framing waiting and I have paintings to paint, grass to mow and the garden to till and plant...who can afford the grocery stores and gas. I will not say anything about the electric bill. We are looking forward to spring and a better year...

Hubby is starting to feel better

Thank Goodness my hubby is feeling some better, not near back to normal yet. Still making those trips to the doctors. Getting older is not for sissies.

Now to start getting our taxes in order, hair-pulling time...

My Hubby's back in the hospital again

I had to take my hubby to e.r. on Wed. evening. I though it was his parathyroid misfiring again, they have run a mega load of tests, we are still waiting for most of the results, so far his kidneys are not working right. Say a prayer for him please.

Lois and I did the Rose center Lunch with the Arts.

Food was great, crowd was great, sales not to good. We had a good time.

Yesterday we hung a show in the Morristown Library It will

hang for the next 2 months. Dan Gibson has his art hung on the ramp.

Here we go again More Snow

Yesterday More snow, a couple of inches..calling for more the next couple of days, I started  a commission I have to finish (watercolor) subject dog, made a pot of Chillie, washed clothes. Guess I will be working on originals I need to finish the next couple of days.....
